The hallmark of the CHAT Program is a partnership with neighboring Mar Vista. The Westside Children’s Center is our primary partner and helps place our residents in the community through their programs. Located about 7 miles from the UCLA campus, this neighborhood contains the largest housing development in the county, two elementary schools and a middle school, a WIC site, and the Mar Vista Family Center. This area has been designated both a Medically Underserved Area and a primary care Health Professional Shortage Area.
