Continuity Clinic
We are committed to providing
an integrated medicine-pediatrics continuity clinic experience for the residents
in this program.
As our program expands, we
will be developing the following two options for this integrated continuity
clinic:
Community-based
medicine-pediatrics office practice—Drs. Mark Grossman and Denise Garvey
currently share a medicine-pediatrics office practice in which residents could
potentially develop their own slate of patients for continuity.
Community-based
medicine-pediatrics clinic practice—The Burke Health Center is a branch
of the Venice Family Clinic, the largest free clinic in the country. We are
pursuing the possibility of establishing a UCLA med-peds residents’ clinic
there.
As we grow to a critical mass
of residents, we could potentially offer either option that residents could
choose during the intern year. As more concrete details are known, we will make
them available on this website.
