Current Hospital:
The primary training facility is the
UCLA Medical Center that currently has 635 beds of which 110 are assigned to pediatrics.
Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center
is due for completion by 2008. This exciting endeavor will help maintain UCLA’s status as one of the premier medical centers in the country. The facility has been designed by world renowned architect I.M. Pei (designer of the Louvre Art Museum in Paris).
The new Medical Center has exciting opportunities for Pediatric
Cardiology, with plans for a 2 dedicated pediatric cath labs, a
24-bed combined adult and pediatric Cardiac Surgical critical
care unit, state of the art intra-hospital electronic system for
order writing, medical documentation and image review stations.
