DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MEDICINE

Division Highlights 

During 1999 the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine was active in research, clinical care and teaching here at UCLA as well as nationally and internationally. The division had research publications in: JAMA, Annals of Emergency Medicine, and Academic Emergency Medicine. Division members were invited to speak at the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine's Scientific Assembly Studies in our division are at the forefront of health service research and medical informatics. Dr. Baraff received a grant from the Agency for Health Care Policy to evaluate after hours nurse advice to on call physician advice.
